Loopy Lounge

Welcome to the first iteration of Loopy Lounge, a fibre craft listening party! On March 14 (5-8 PM), bring your current WIP and come spend an evening crafting while listening to beats by Jefferson Alade (Jaladé) at Atelier254.

We‘re beyond excited to offer a space for our local community of fibre enthusiasts to gather, connect, listen and create together.

There will be cozy floor seating and chairs but you’re welcome to bring comfy blankets and pillows to lounge on. We’ll have baked goods and drinks for sale. The venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible as there is a flight of stairs leading to the entrance. Please contact us if you need other accommodations or have access needs we should be aware of.

Please RSVP on our eventbrite, linked in our bios. This event is a fundraiser for Sudan, Gaza and Iran. Entry is by donation, NOTAFLOF but we suggest a $15 donation. All proceeds from tickets, food and drinks will go to the Sameer project, Voices for Sudan and mutual aid for Iran.

Given the siege on Gaza and the Internet blackout in Iran, we acknowledge that the situation is rapidly changing. We will ensure the funds go to direct aid via a reassessment with the above-mentioned organizations once the fundraiser rolls around.

Hosted by Héloïse Auvray (@dure_mere), Noor Ghazal (@noorghzl) and Kira Saragih (@kirakirawho).
